Added “login” to user profile, so you can enter you full name and use a nickname or whatever for your login name. Added options to image watermark so you can upload images with something other than “©2008 Tim Wheeler” on it! Extracted and published part of the code on a Rails Plugin Directory as “BrowserStatus”. More to come later, hopefully.

Added the ability to leave comments throughout site. Users are still encouraged to create their own hotspots on the hotspots map, and to edit the notes of existing ones, as well. Users are also welcome to join the WaysOfEnlichenment google group to receive the latest news or to participate in general discussion about the site, boook, or related topics.

Website is announced in time for IAL6 conference at Asilomar. Main features at this time include: 1) hotspots map, 2) sample maps for the atlas project, 3) sample photos from Tim Wheeler’s collection, 4) Taxonomic Tithing, 5) information about the book Ways of Enlichenment and related topics.
